INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING EMAIL USING OUTLOOK EXPRESS 5

  1. Start OUTLOOK EXPRESS
  2. Click on Tools then Accounts
  3. Click on ADD then choose MAIL. This will invoke the Internet Connection Wizard.
  4. Put the name of you requie for your mail account in the field and click NEXT.
  5. Choose I already have an email account I would like to use.............and enter the email address you would like people to reply to. Click NEXT.
  6. Now enter your POP and SMTP details....... ......the POP3 address is www.whatever your domain is.com ......the SMTP address is the one given to you by your dialup ISP. (You may have to call them). CLICK NEXT.
  7. Now enter your Username and password.You will find these in your welcome email. CLICK NEXT.
  8. CLICK FINISH.

Congratulations, you have configured Outlook Express to download your email.

How can I set up more email aliases?

Please note that initially your email is set to catch anything@yourdomain.com by default.
You do not need to set up aliases for this account. If you have set up another POP account on your domain you may need to set up aliases for it, heres how: Open your favorite web browser. Go to www.yourdomain.co.uk/siteadmin Enter your username and password at the prompt (remember: Your password is CaSe SeNsItIvE).

Scroll down on the email page to the username and click manage. Add an alias in the space provided and press and save the setting. You can add as many aliases as you wish to the user.

All your new aliases will be active immediately.

How can I forward my email to another email address?

Open your favorite web browser. Go to www.yourdomain.co.uk/siteadmin Enter your username and password at the prompt (remember: Your password is CaSe SeNsItIvE). Scroll down on the email page to the username and click manage. Enter the email address you wish to forward to in the relevant field. Save the changes.

All your email will now be redirected to the email address of your choice.

How can I set up my auto responder?

Open your favorite web browser. Go to www.yourdomain.co.uk/siteadmin Enter your username and password at the prompt (remember: Your password is CaSe SeNsItIvE). Scroll down on the email page to the username and click manage. Click on the ON radio button in the auto responder section. Put your message in the text box. Save the changes.

An email with your message will now be sent to any body who sends an email to your POP account.
